About the event
Join women and nonbinary Commissioners to prepare and package food with Food and Friends. Food and Friends provides home-delivered medically tailored meals and nutrition therapy to our neighbors living with cancer, HIV/AIDS, and other serious illnesses.
We have scheduled a group volunteer shift on Monday, October 16th from 9 am - 12 pm. Food and Friends is located at 219 Riggs Road, NE by the Fort Totten Metro and several bus lines. This event is hosted by Commissioner Alison Brooks (4B08) and Commissioner Erin Palmer (4B02).
