About the event
ANC Commissioners Amanda Beale (8C08) and Reverend Wendy Hamilton (8D06) invite women and nonbinary ANCs to relax and get to know one another over happy hour. Meet us at one or both locations for a crawl starting in newly redistricted Ward 8 and taking us to Anacostia. We will start at Walters (10 N Street, SE) at 5:30 and move to Busboys (2004 MLK Jr Avenue, SE) at 7:30.
This event is part of a series of happy hours by and for women and nonbinary Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners that will take place in wards across DC - this one in Ward 8! In September we will be gathering with former women and nonbinary Commissioners to learn from their experiences and wisdom.
